Levicorpus is better known as the dangling jinx. If used correctly, you are able to dangle someone in the air by their ankles. We saw this used in both the books and in the movies. The jinx was invented by Severus Snape. This came when he was attending Hogwarts as a student and going by the name, the Half-Blood Prince. This is one of several spells/ charms that he invented, including Sectumsempra, which shows his prowess as a Wizard.
2) What is the counter-jinx called?
Liberacorpus is the name of the counter-jinx that is used to counteract it. This was also created by Severus Snape. It is used to counter/ block this spell when used.
3) Who uses this spell on Harry to help him grab the cup of Hufflepuff when they were in the Lestrange vault?
Hermione Granger used this on Harry Potter in order to help him grab Helga Hufflepuff’s cup. This was a strategic move so Harry could grab it while they were in Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault. This just shows us that it can be used for good and not just to bully other students.
4) Which Marauder used this jinx on a young Severus Snape when Harry looked into the Pensieve (In the books).
James Potter used this on Severus Snape when Harry Potter looked into the Pensieve. This was used by James to bully Severus with the spell that he created himself.

5) True Or False: This spell is taught in 1st year charms class
This is false as this is not something that is taught in charms class. Especially not something that would be taught in first year, when students are just learning the basics of magic.
